Cascade Acupuncture Center (CAC), like many small businesses, had to purchase a variety of supplies and implement new procedures to reopen and run our business safely. These measures have increased our costs and decreased our productivity. Many businesses have, or will have to, raise their rates to cover additional costs. Our goal is keep our rates the same during this pandemic as we know an increase in rates would adversely affect some of our clients. We will also continue to offer our sliding fee scale and financial hardship rates without a cap as we have for the last 15 years.
After much consideration we would like to give our clients the option to support CAC through a Voluntary Overhead Contribution (VOC) to help cover the increased costs we are experiencing during the pandemic.
We will not ask clients for VOC’s in person. There will be a sign in the offices and this link on our website that explains VOC’s. If you would like to make a voluntary contribution simply tell one of our staff members to charge your card on file for any amount you feel comfortable contributing. You may also email our office at heal@CascadeAcupuncture.org with payment instructions for your card on file. This is truly voluntary and there is no expectation for clients to contribute. If you do contribute please know that ANY amount is helpful and most appreciated. If you are wondering how much to contribute you may consider $1-4 per treatment or whatever amount feels right to you. Please note, CAC is not a non-profit and VOC’s are not tax-deductible.
Another way to support us is to continue to share your experience in our clinics with others who live locally and have health concerns. We continue to offer 15 min free consultations, due to COVID these are offered by phone. A free mini treatment for stress is included after the phone call if desired.
We also continue to appreciate your product and Chinese herb purchases and sharing about our products with others who live locally and could benefit from them.
