Our Story

Cascade Acupuncture Center was founded in 2005 in Hood River, built on a team-based approach to care that continues today. Our warm and welcoming clinic environment incorporates Feng Shui principles, hydraulic heated cushioned tables, and soft leather recliner chairs with massage and heating pads, ensuring comfort for both staff and clients.

In 2006, we expanded to The Dalles with support from the Mid-Columbia Economic Development Division, acquiring a practice and growing our team. In 2011, we relocated to a larger space, and in 2013, we added a satellite clinic in Stevenson, WA, later sold and renamed Skamania Acupuncture Clinic.

In 2020, ownership transitioned when Hood River and The Dalles clinics were sold to a new owner. Under new leadership, we continued to thrive, earning Best of The Gorge Acupuncture honors four years in a row from 2021 to 2024.

By 2023, we moved the Hood River location to the Waucoma Center, providing much-needed space and a more accessible location during the winter months.

All clinics remain wheelchair accessible, maintaining a consistent, calming design.

Community service is at the heart of our mission. Every year, we participate in Tree of Joy Hood River, contribute directly to the local food bank, and surprise patients with special gifts from October through February.

We are deeply committed to Veterans and Active Duty Military—an honor shaped by our owner’s family history of service dating back to the American Revolution. Our goal is to provide the best drug-free pain relief possible.

It is our great privilege to continue serving the people of the Mid-Columbia region, growing, adapting, and caring for those who rely on us.
